The purpose of collecting data via this website and its forms is to process event applications, registrations, and inquiries related to the event ukraine.saxony.tech Business Days 2025.

The website ukraine.saxony.tech, including all its sub-pages, is controlled and operated by Gigahertz Ventures GmbH. Gigahertz Ventures GmbH acts as the implementation partner for the event ukraine.saxony.tech Business Days 2025, contracted by Saxony Trade and Invest (Wirtschaftsförderung Sachsen GmbH), a company owned by the Free State of Saxony. Saxony Trade and Invest is the official organizer of the event. The event is commissioned and supported by the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate.

Any data submitted through contact or event registration forms may be shared with the event organizer (Saxony Trade and Invest) for the purpose of event management and execution. By submitting data via these forms, users agree to the Data Privacy Policy of Saxony Trade and Invest (https://business-saxony.com/en/privacy) as well.

Data collected through the website may also be shared with companies and organizations participating in the event, solely for the purpose of event organization and coordination. This may include the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate, as commissioner and supporter of the event. No data will be shared with third parties not involved in the event.

Data will be deleted upon request unless statutory retention obligations apply. Consent is obtained by actively ticking the corresponding checkbox below the form. Both the contact and registration forms are directly linked to our email server and are not connected to third-party services (e.g. Google Sheets).

7. Multilingual Website via Polylang Plugin

This website is hosted with United-Domains AG and Ionos SE, located in Germany. Both providers ensure secure and GDPR-compliant data storage within the EU.

  • The IP address of the device used at the time of submission

This data is sent via email to our inbox hosted by United Domains in Germany. The servers are located within the European Union and comply with applicable GDPR standards. Additionally, the data may be stored securely within our WordPress installation and is not transmitted to any third-party providers or external services.

The data is used solely to process your inquiry or registration and to ensure the technical security and functionality of the form submission system. We do not use this data for profiling or combine it with other data sources. Data is not shared with third parties and will be deleted upon request, unless legal retention obligations apply.

E-mails are transmitted via encrypted channels (TLS). No third-party services are involved in the processing or storage of this information.

10. Web Analytics and Search Engine Optimization

This website uses Matomo, a privacy-friendly open-source web analytics software, to collect anonymous usage statistics. All data processing takes place exclusively on our own servers located within the European Union.
No personal data is stored. IP addresses are anonymized before storage, and no cookies are used. The collected data is used solely to analyze user behavior and improve our information offering. This includes, for example, visited pages, time spent on pages, and the country of origin (determined via anonymized IP addresses, known as GeoIP data).

In addition, we use the SEO plugin “Rank Math” to improve the visibility of our website in search engines. This plugin is locally installed and supports us in optimizing our pages from a technical and content perspective. No personal data is transmitted to Rank Math or any third party.
